How selling by post works

Request
Ask for a free postal pack or a prepaid label online. We verify your email and send your pack or label straight away.
- 02
Pack
Wrap your items well. With a pack: items in the small bags, form and bags in the grey security bag, then seal it.
- 03
Post
Drop the parcel at any post office and keep your proof of postage. Once tracking shows it posted with our label, it travels at our risk up to 2,000 euro, subject to the postal terms.
- 04
Get paid
We test and weigh everything on arrival and send an itemised offer at our board prices. Accept and you are paid by bank transfer the same day, less the €12 return postage at cost, waived when your items' melt value is over €500. Decline and everything comes back to you free.

Questions people ask
How are prices set?
Every price tracks the live London spot price and the fineness of the metal. The exact figure we pay per gram for each product is on our prices page and updates every minute. There are no testing fees or handling charges.
Is the pack really free?
Yes. The pack or label costs you nothing to request and nothing to send. If you sell to us, we deduct €12 postage at cost from your payment, shown as its own line on the offer, and we waive it when your items' melt value is over €500. If you do not sell, you pay nothing and we return your items free.
What if I don't like the offer?
Decline it and you owe nothing. Every offer is itemised and stays open for 48 hours. If you say no, we return your items free of charge by tracked post.
How do you test?
We use XRF, which stands for X-ray fluorescence. The analyser reads the elemental composition of the metal without damaging the item, so every piece is priced on what it actually is, hallmarked or not. In person, testing is done in front of you.
What ID do you need?
One valid photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence, recorded before any payment is made, in line with anti-money-laundering practice. We do not buy from anyone under 18.
