What silver we buy

Chains, rings, bangles and brooches in sterling (925), Britannia (958) or fine silver, hallmarked or not.

How much do you pay for silver in Ireland?
We pay 65 percent of melt value for silver, calculated from the live London spot price and the fineness of your item. The exact price per gram for sterling, Britannia and fine silver is published on this page and on our prices page, updated every minute. There are no testing fees or deductions.
Is silver-plated cutlery worth anything?
Very little as scrap. The silver layer on EPNS and other plated items is extremely thin, so the recoverable silver is usually negligible. We will tell you that honestly rather than make a token offer. Solid sterling cutlery, on the other hand, is bought by weight at our published rate.
Can I sell silver that has no hallmark?
Yes. Every item is tested on an XRF analyser in front of you, so unmarked, foreign-marked and worn pieces are all priced on their actual composition. A missing hallmark never blocks a deal.
Do you buy silver coins and bars?
Yes. Britannias, Philharmonics, Maple Leafs and other bullion coins and bars are bought against the live London price. Pre-decimal Irish and British coinage with silver content is also bought by weight, and anything collectable is flagged rather than melted.
What do I need to sell silver in Dublin?
One valid photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence, and the items themselves. Appointments are arranged by email or WhatsApp. Payment is by same-day bank transfer.
